Hi Dave,

Thanks for the step by step write up

Here is what the problem I am encountering: I type the command /etc/init.d/viewpoint start to start the view point then immediately after this I type the command /etc/init.d/viewpoint status to check the status. The status shows running.

In the browser when I type the address as http://192.168.1.3. I get the failure unable to establish connection to this server.

When I again go to the terminal window to check the status of view point through command /etc/init.d/viewpoint status it shows 'unused'.

I restart the viewpoint again through command /etc/init.d/viewpoint start and when I check the status again after a minute or so it shows 'unused'

Would appreciate if you could help me out in finding the root cause.
