Hi Forum, When COGNOS is running queries, we see the sessions in responding state for around 2-3 minutes. (The queries are shown in Active state for few seconds and then seen in responding state for longtime). Whereas, when the same queries, when executed in the SQLA, we are able to get the results in seconds. I understand, the DB is able to run the query in good time, but, is that the cognos is not able to pull the data faster and hence the queries are in responding state? Can you also let me know how to find the amount of time a session(query) is in responding state from DBQL. Thanks, Sravan. SRAVAN KUMAR BODLA
