Hi Forum,

I have few questions on creating a SET / MULTISET table with unique primary index.

1)When there are inserts happening say from TPUMP loader / ODBC connection, would every record be checked twice for duplicates ? Since, we have the table defined as SET and also have UNIQUE PI defined?

2) Having the table defined as SET with UPI, would there be a performance degradation?

3) How much would the performance improve if we make the table as MULTISET ?

Could anyone please clarify?
