Hi, As I have seen from Teradata documentation that the logic for distribution of NUSI is same as USI, but it is stored local to the AMP. Now I just want to clarify my question with an example. Say for example we have an employee table where empno is UPI and deptno is NUSI. Now say empno=1 and empno=5 are belongs to deptno=2. But say empno=1 is resides in AMP-1 where as empno=5 resides in AMP-2. Now based on the logic of NUSI should be local to AMP; deptno=2 should be there in AMP-1 and AMP-2. But this is contracting with the hashing algo of Teradata. So request you to please help me understand this scenario. Regards, Koushik Chandra
