Hi Forum,

I am not sure what I am missing. I am sure it?s something really trivial. I have a database XYZ and a role R_XYZ_RO, which has just the SELECT(R) access to the DB XYZ . I granted the role to couple users and when they try to do a select on that table, they get the error ,that SELECT Failed 3523: The user does not have select access to the DB XYZ.

To resolve the issue, I simply granted the access to the DB directly to the users. My question is, the granting access to the role should have worked right? Am I missing to do anything here.
