As I said, compression rates varies greatly depending on your data and what level of MVC you already have in place.....

We saw a 2.6 times compression rate (ie 10TB would compress to 3.8TB) We had a reasonable amount of MVC already. We saw some tables shrink by more than 8 times. We saw one table shrink from 1.5TB down to 600GB - and this was a table that had as much MVC as appropriate.
