Hi Experts,

Kindly clarify the point below.

We know Collect stats is a DDL operation.

Its the reason only one Collect stats can be do in a macro(??).

But when we do explain plan, it shows only Access lock putting on the table.

For DDL operation, exclusive lock should apply on the table(??).

Kindly give me a proper explanation on which lock will apply on a table as we do Collect stats.
