Hi,

Could you please suggest what could be tasks/things to do for downsizing the NODES?

Say, from current two clicks of 1 + 1 HSN we may go for one click of 1 + 1 HSN. Reducing AMPs & PE by 50% of its current numbers of two clicks.

We are taking clean full backups.?? However, unlike upgrades/increase of NODES I could not find any information on downsizing of the NODES.

Since it will be half # of AMPs and PE upon downsizing; I think it needs :

1. Perm space to be doubled upon downsizing for all DBs.

2. Temp/Spool space for each User to be doubled upon downsizing.

Besides above, any one could help with any suggestions from your experience/knowledge? Especially for sessions, load jobs etc?
