Vijay,

If you are using Mload 14.00 version onwards, you can use the below syntax to remove quotes from a column. Use piom (a dependent package) from 14.00 version as well.

     FORMAT VARTEXT '?' TRIM BOTH '"' ;

Note: '"' is above
