TD 13 on Windows,

Suppose a database ABC has 100 tables with data in Production Server. The same database exists in Non Production server. I make a backup of ABC in Non production to a tape. Now I want to copy all tables of ABC from the tape to the target database, ABC in production server.

Does COPY command delete all data in the Target database and repopulate data?

Or should I delete all data in Target database first and run Copy command?

What does COPY command do when data already exists in the Target database tables?
