Hi, If the rows are deleted successfully and there is NO BACKUP those rows are gone for ever! Transient Journal keeps copy of before images until transaction or rollback completes successfully. Once completed before images are deleted from TJ. Teradata will only rollback if the "Delete Transaction" fails for some reason; if "Delete Transaction" succeeds you will get the message : DELETE completed. # rows processed.
