Hi TD Gurus,

Can anyone help me out with the following question? How much space will a blank in a CHAR field take? Example, if I have ' ' in a CHAR(1) field, will it take a single byte for every blank value for this field in the table?

If my table as 10 mn such rows wont it be a waste of space?
