This is usually because you did not define whole partitions. For example if you defined monthly partitions and you specified a partition condition that does not cover the entire partition. The entire partition will be archived (a partial partition will not be archived only whole partitions) and the bounding condition captured with the archive data will be not well defined.

You will need to specify the partitions to be restored and you cannot use the all partitions option.
