Hi, "Order by Hash" is the default for an index (as noted in the manuals :-) ). The alternative is "order by values" which sorts the index rows by the data value. If you are using the index column in an equality constraint then there will not be any difference. If the index is used in a range constraint then the value ordered index can be faster.
