Hi Anomy,
In my opinion you do not need an 64 bit host operating system to run 64 bit Teradata express 13.10. As long as VMware player supports it, you
could run any Virtual image on any platform. That means you could run any OS (32 bit Window/Linux, 64 bit Windows/Linux) on your machine.
However you need to make sure that your computer's hardware supports "Intel Virtualization technology". You may check BIOS settings to make
sure that its supported in your machine and is enabled. Once confirmed, just download Teradata express 13.10 VM and install latest VMware player.
You should be all set.
Also, as Mike suggested, it's an evaluation version of viewpoint. It is bundled with Teradata Express VM and can ONLY connect to localhost (ie.
Teradata server installed in Express VM).
