Hi -- I was just at the Midwest User Group Mtg and Teradata staff did not have much enthusiasm for multi-column stats.

I concur with everyone that has said to be certain that any multi-column stats improve a plan before applying them.

Applying all multi-column stats recommended per the help stats diagnostic leads to unnecessary stats collection and per Teradata Staff often confuses the Optimizer.
