Hi All,

I have following scenario.

Col1 contains values such as

     Col1
     -------
     ABC-123-VAL1
     XAYZ-12-VAL2
     SK-1234-VAL3

Now I want the data as following:

     Col1 Col2
     Col3 Col4
     ABC-123-VAL1 ABC
     123 VAL1
     XAYZ-12-VAL2 XAYZ
     12 VAL2
     SK-1234-VAL3 SK
     1234 VAL3

Basically I want to extract values from one column based on the positioning of hyphen and put that data in separate columns. Does Teradata have any standard function to achieve this?
