Are you running in proper character set for the input data? For UNIX Mload -c UTF8 Change UTF8 to the proper character set If that still does not work, then you need to validate the character set of the file. We have seen extended ascii in some data that is supposed to be UTf8. We were able to just load as ascii input character set. However, if you have some ascii and some Utf8 in the same column or different columns. Then you may have to load with two methods or make common before loading. Thanks, Robert Diehl
