Hi All, I have some questions around using Teradata Manager Alert actions. I have set up an action to use a banner, and it would seem that this will only display on the machine running the server service. Is it possible for this to be configured to run on client systems connected to the server? Also, we seem to have an issue currently where a banner will appear but not disappear when the alert has finished and there does not appear to be anyway to exit the banner, other than end task. I am also interested in finding out if anyone knows how to change the default location of the tmgr.log file, used to capture the 'write to log' actions. Our current setup has the server service running on a particular desktop machine with no ability to share the default directory, which makes it difficult for the other DBAs to action any alerts. We have set up things this way, as I have currently not been able to find anyone who can help with setting up alerts using SMTP and Lotus Notes. Mark Young
