If you don't know the names for the time zones (I don't) you can also use an offset like:

     SEL CURRENT_TIMESTAMP AT '-05:00';

or

     SEL CURRENT_TIMESTAMP AT TIME ZONE '-05:00';

This gives you EST, ie. the same value as 'america eastern'.
