It does sound like maybe you have installed the 64bit components rather than the 32bit components that are required by SQL Assistant.
Unless you need to connect to other vendor databases I would suggest you stick with the Teradata.Net option. This will give you better
performance and additional functionality. (This will be even more important with SQLA 13.10/13.11 where the performance and functionality
differences are greater)
