What is the advantage of defining PI on more than 2 columns?? I understand, for even data distribution the PI should be unique and should be defined only on single column.

But I see many tables in my environment, with PI defined on 4-5 columns and more.

Can you please share your thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages on this and the data distribution on amps and accessibility of data in such cases.
