Hi

I have just started working on Teradata database. have lot of questions on how it works backend and how it interacts with other ETL Tools.

My Question is When we run any query with more than one session how it interacts with AMP's.

Eg:

     Select * from Table1 where ColumnName='USA'.

So, the appropriate AMP will be activated and retrieves the data if it is single Session. When we run more than one session how it works?

If two persons run a same query at the same time as above on Teradata, how the AMP will react?
