Hi Janardhan, Todd Main reason behind splitting was to ease the maintenance activities like STATs collection, on the table as the table is very huge. Moreover, same data is coming from multiple sources, thus I can reduce my ETL time with data going in separate physical tables. PPI is already available on DATE & REGION. We have two categories of users - a) who access data for all regions b) access data for specific region only. In case of (b), PPI will help but in case of (a), data is required to be accessed for all regions, hence all tables are required, Here PPI also won't help. Do we have any alternative or better approach in Teradata to handle such cases of dealing with large tables. Thanks & Regards Rishi Agarwal
