Subj:   ODBC versus .NET with SQLA

From:   DUELL, BOB

Hi,

We (end users) recently received new a new version of SQLA (13.10.0.5). One of the differences in this release is the ability to make a connection to Teradata using .NET rather than ODBC (using a new drop-down selection).

I m curious: are there performance or other functional reasons to pick one over the other? I m able to connect with each interface without problems but I haven t done any "behavioral" testing. Is one "better"?

Thanks!

Bob
