Hi Machha,

Why do you think that you need to do a mass 're-collect' of stats ** just ** because of a hardware upgrade ? You don't.

Statistics describe the data, not the environment.

Are you also going through a major release software upgrade (i.e. TD12 to TD13) ? If so then refreshing stats may help, but even then I don't think you should prevent user access to the system while this is being done.
