Subj:   Re: Multiset with a UPI
From:   Gregg, William

Kartik - some things to consider:

1) Most PIs are not UPI, often NUPI, so SET prevents a full row duplication (as in the same feed is sent twice);

2) If using MLoad, the USI has to be dropped; so a lot of damage may be done before the faulty duplication is discovered.

3) Multiset saves on processing costs for every insert -- provided U can withstand the pain or have planned against/around a duplicate feed getting thru the guards.

4) U never know about a place as big as GE, there could be other divisions that only permit SET tables and others a mix.
