HI,

I understand that during ML insert, data is sent in 64k blocks to all amps and then hasing happens and each data row is sent to the actual amp where it is going to reside forever. And in this process, worktable will be used to store data sent by other amps and execution plan of each sql.

Can anyone explain in more elaborative way,how work table will be made use of especially in case of ML update and delete.
