Hi,

What is the differences between Distinct vs. group by from TD 13 onwards.

Internally Distinct will be written as below.

     Rewrite  Distinct  to  Group By
     Select Distinct Col From Table
                    rewritten as
        Select Col from Table Group By Col

Are they one and the same performance wise.
