Hi, Pseudo-table locks are designed to prevent global deadlock, however, it would not prevent the AMP-level/transaction-level deadlock. Use the Locking Logger + DBQL/Access Log to investigate which SQL statements are contributed to the Dead-lock, and review accordingly. Hope it help. YB.
