Subj:		Loading Data from Oracle to Teradata through TPT

Hi Teradata Guru,

We're exploring the solution to Pull (aka Pull Method) the data from Oracle Server and load to Teradata, l understand that the TPT ODBC Operator and the LOAD Operator could perform such operation without the intermediate staging file.

Is DataDirect ODBC driver a MUST for TPT ODBC operator to interface with Oracle, could we use the native driver provided by Oracle?

What's the common issue faced by the Pull methods experienced in your site? We're currently loading the Oracle to Teradata through files in the staging server.
