Important feature the statistics grant - it means user credentials no longer needs drop/create to run statistics which at my shop was always contention. I used to grant execute so users could do show table without actually having to have direct access to it, the new show allows same and is easier to document.

Note these dont automatically get granted when upgrading to new release
