Subj:   Re: Problems Installing Teradata query Assistant - 13.0.0.5

From:   Dempsey, Mike

These are actually 2 different problems.

NOTE that there is some confusion about the SQLA version here.

The History problem is from 13.10.0.5 (see error file)

You also reference 13.0.0.4 and 13.0.0.5 (typos? Or the second problem?)

Your main problem (no history) is caused by the fact that for some reason or another the "AccessDatabaseEngine.exe" file was not executed during the install. (If you used the msi file instead of setup.exe this would happen)

Locate this file (in a subdirectory of the install directory) and execute it. That should fix the problem.

The other problem (Query Scheduler error) is caused by the fact that you have Teradata Query Scheduler Client installed on your system, but TQS has not been configured. This will not cause any problems in SQL Assistant.

To get rid of the error messages you need to either configure TQS or remove it from your system.
