Hi James, Whether or not objects created by the "user to be deleted" have to be removed or not depends on where those objects are created. Assume that the user to be deleted is called FRED. One of the objects in question is a macro called M1. If M1 was created in FRED (i.e. the fully qualified name of the macros if FRED.M1) then removing FRED will also result in M1 being removed. Technically you'd have to remove M1 before you can remove FRED, but the end result will be that both are removed. If however, M1 was created in another database (many Teradata sites use specific databases for holding macros, views, stored procedures etc) then there is no technical reason for removing M1 before removing FRED. You can remove FRED, leave M1 in place and it will still be useable by all those users who used it before. Even if a user being removed has created objects (in another database), removing that user doesn't remove any AccessRights on the objects they created. Hope this helps.
