Hi all, Has anyone noticed the following - and do you know the cause / resolution ? Using ODBC as the api, when the program disconnects from the dbms the session stays on the dbms for a few minutes (1-2 minutes). This is on a completely idle system apart from this one ODBC session and a second session which is there simply to monitor what is happening. Neither session is doing any processing. I've tried this on two DBMS releases, 13.0.0.2 and 13.0.0.19. I've tried this using ODBC drivers 13.0.0.2, 13.10.0.2 and 13.10.0.5. I'm using SQL Assistant 13.10.0.3 as my odbc application. If I connect using dot net data provider from the same SQL Assistant or using cli (Bteq, my own code etc) then the session disappears from the DBMS immediately. It sounds like an ODBC bug to me but I thought I'd ask if anyone else has come across this yet. Cheers, Dave Ward Analytics Ltd: Information in motion (www.ward-analytics.com)
