June got on 30 days and you have to cast timestamp...

Following should work..

     Sel  *
     from  dbc.qrylog
     where CollectTimeStamp  between cast ('2010-06-01 10:10:01' as timestamp(0) )
     and  cast( '2010-06-30 11:00:59' as timestamp(0)) sample 5;
