If it were me in this case, I would compress all country code values - there can't be more than about 190!!! However, I would put the list in
the order of most use (i.e. applied selection criteria) as I believe the software might search the value list when you apply any selection
criteria on it. Kind of like putting the values in a COBOL look-up table in the program in the most used frequency order.
If I'm all wet - someone please let me know. Never too old to learn something;-)
