Dave - aways back, I had some tools cut off the text fields at 500 characters. I was able to access all of the characters, it just returned the first 500 and stopped.

I did not remember assigning a setting, so it may have been a default. So, check your settings.

If all else fails use substring and pull from 501 to 1000; 1001 to 1500, etc

Use CHARACTERS to count the number of characters in the field.
