Sorry it took me awhile to respond to this posting, but here goes...

Per the manual:

DDL statements cannot be entered as part of a multistatement request.

I believe your multistatement request is stopping because you have a CREATE TABLE in your multistatement request.

The other example provided for this issue by another respondent said it stopped after an ALTER TABLE request which is also a DDL statement.
