We receive the following intermittent error with WINCLI connectivity: 3749 - Options Parcel Information is Invalid. For the users who get
this message, the user connects, send a couple successful queries, then receives the error. Some users can click ok and continue, other can
create a new .con file and connect again. Some keep getting the error and are virtually locked out.
The Message Manual and one Knowledge Article indicate this is an application issue.
Has anyone resolved this issue without changing WINCLI to ODBC or without upgrading to new application software? (Both options are problematic
for us.)
The software versions do not appear to be a distinctive factor that segregates which users receives the error. Our application is BI Query
8.2 , 9.1 and 9.2. We just upgraded our database to TD 12.0.0.18. Our TTU is varied from 13.0 to 13.1.
