Dave, Thanks for your response, but I am confused in regards the last 2 paragraphs. The first one seems to indicate that the post_data_restore script does not convert any data tables, yet the second one indicates the script should be run following the migration of tables or objects. I am also advised by Teradata that if we are to restore a table or database, say a month after the migration, that was backed up in TD12, we will require this script to be run again - is this accurate? My concern is that, if the system needs to be quiescent to run this script and it requires Teradata to run it at the node level, any restore done from the previous version becomes a complex task.
