Anshuman,

The Error 3538 indicates that an UPDATE statement in a MultiLoad Task that does not fully specify a primary index value, specify the values of all the partitioning columns,or modifies the primary index or partitioning columns. So u need to use the Primary Index value for the Update stmt to work. Meaning u need to use "=". Because u are updating the record based on the PI value matching.
