Hi,

Can anyone give me some idea of the efforts needed in terms of using the best tool or utility on Teradata if I want to -

1. Load data from Teradata tables to another Teradata database. Is BTEQ the preferred method?

2. Load data from third party sources to Teradata database. Can we use BTEQ combined with FLoad/Mload utilities or using a traditional ETL tool would be more efficient?

How does Teradata perform Audit, Balance and Controls for the above? Is it in built within the tools or need to be programmed?

Any information would be helpful.
