Hi Syed,

The row_Number will be assigned based on the assending order of the columns used in the ORDER BY clause with the ROW_NUMBER function. So, when the column is strictly UNIQUE, same number of records will be retrieved at all the time where as in the vice-versa case, the result is unpredictable as the SELECT is done at random.
