Hi Raju Garu,

First thing I would like to know is r u on V12 if not forget about your problem. If yes then I did tried to create PPI on CHAR column in V6 please go through this link so that you can find what is the issue I face about creating one.

In your case since you have only two values in this field Y/N I think you can go ahead and create as only one of these can be used in where clause.
