Hi, I have over a hundred views and I would need to have the data types of all fields and for all the views. I am using Teradata Assistant 13.0 and when I look at the columns there are the name of the field and it's data type. However I haven't found a way to get this information through a query to avoid doing a manual job. I activated QueryLog and when I look at the query generated by TD opening the Columns the query only includes the column name. For tables getting this information there is no problem but when it comes to views in every table in DBC the data types are NULL. So how does Assistant get the information about the data type also? Any help appreciated. Thanks Christer Gronholm
