Hi,

the savings would be something like this:

savings from column compresseion - additional bit in each rowheader - 2 Bytes additional for the partition information + some bytes/amp in the table header :

     500000*10 -1000000/8 - 1000000*2 - 10*20 amps = 2874800 Byte

This is a theoretical value and also depends on the segmentsize and the size of the records.
