We came across the a problem like this several years ago. You can only bring a table into the join index one time. I have not checked to see if this limitation has been removed from newer version of Teradata. In our case the table brought in twice was a reference table. We just made a second copy of the table as it was small with few updates. Add triggers on first table to keep them in sync.

Maybe you can use this method in your case.
