  Has anybody used this option to change the session transaction mode of a user as they logon.  


  If you have a ANSI default on your machine would  


  STARTUP='.set session transaction btet' change it to Teradata mode.  


Why not try it yourself? To check the transaction mode just use HELP SESSION.
