All,

Can any one help me this:

Let's say I have a view called View_1, and it has 30 columns. I create a query on that view, selecting only 4 out of the 30 columns.

Does the view now still retrieve 30 columns, and then from the result in spool my sql takes the 4 I need?

Or does it just retrieve the 4 I need in the first step?
